Center Console

I need to replace the two accent pieces that run down the sides of my console and up to the dash...mine are silver. Are there any instructions on how to remove and replace these pieces?

Push the arm rest back and open it up to the bottom storage compartment, you'll see a square, pry it out and remove the one or two screws and lift up. the two pieces just snap in place but need to start at the end and just pull out with slight force. Good luck. What's wrong with the pieces?

The silver trim pieces have no screws holding them in. Pop the center console open and take a flat-head screw driver (with a cloth on the end to prevent prying damage to the plastic, you could use masking tape too) and pry up on it. You should only need to pry a small area near the center console, the rest you can pull up by hand. It'll be loud as you pop all the clips out, don't let that bother you. Take extra caution towards the top near the air vents as the piece is thinner and more fragile there. Reinstall in reverse order, starting at the air vents. Make sure all clips are firmly in or else the pieces will rattle when you drive.

Also, try not to bend it as it bends really easily.

If you do happen to bend it a little, it's okay; it'll just go back to shape once you put it back on.

I hear those pieces can be expensive--mind if I ask how much you paid?
