Hello, guys!

This morning I was having a bit of fun on the interstate and driving in manual tiptronic mode. I noticed that when I downshifted to third my CEL would come on and only disappear once shifting back to fourth, etc. I repeated the process a few minutes later and same thing. Any ideas?

 

After further analysis, I believe it was some kind of warning system. I tested shifting down to third at lower speeds during my lunch break and no CEL. Guess it was just warning me that shifting into third at higher speeds was not a good idea. Weird though; never happened before.

Any input is still appreciated.

 

The code should be stored in the computer. Hook up an OBDII reader and see what it says.
