CEL - precat question

Quick question: does anyone know if the type of gasoline (brand - 92 octane) can cause a CEL with pre-cat deletes? Seems like a simple "yes," but I haven't been able to clear the code. I've had zero issues with CEL's with the new elbows Richies provided; can't seem to understand why I'm throwing a code all of a sudden after a few thousand miles. I DO however, seem to get more miles per gallon, so I'm assuming the winter formulated gasoline is no longer in circulation. I'm currently at 20% oil life...is it possible that worn out engine oil could be the culprit? Running 5w20 Royal Purple...as I have been for the past year or so. Is there anyway to tell right off the bat if it's a bad O2 sensor? Or do I need to get the code read? I've cleared twice, and the CEL's come back each time ~30 miles after. Hm...also threw in the MDX Spacer recently and cleaned out my CAI filter.

I initially figured it was just a random CEL; but in the past, those have come and gone rather quickly. I've had this for about a week now...just making sure

Thanks ALL!

If Opel was here, he would say "Go get the codes, then we will discuss it". And, I agree with him.
