I just got the p0443 code this evening. I took off the purge valve and ran a 9 volt battery to the connector to hear fro a click. it did click so im assuming the purge valve is good. i have been reading in some forums that it could be an intermittent fault in the purge valve. Does anyone have any idea or can help me in anyway as to my next step? thanx

 

just replace the darn thing

 

its about $100. dont want to replace and then find out theres another problem. Most thigns i read say if it clicks when u give it power then it works.
