AC Help

2006 acura tl 6 speed manual. I'm having a problem with my AC. it's hot.. Last year the a.c. clutch went so I replaced the whole compressor new denso. I had a problem when replacing the drier and was unsure if it was going to leak. Last year everything worked great. This year AC. is hot, clutch was engaged still though. I charged it up and it worked great until the next morning. Now remembering the drier problem I bought a new condenser with drier denso. I installed and now the system being empty the clutch wasn't engaged. I jumped it and charged the system. Again worked great. Next morning hot and clutch would not engage. I bought a Sealer with red die, charged it and could not find any leaks. Then I noticed while driving there's a hissing sound I can hear in the car. Also throughout this I could smell freon in the car. I investigated around the passenger floor. Nothing was wet and nothing was shooting around the floor. I did this at my dad's house and he called me later to say there was a red puddle under where my car was. What could it be the evaporator? Something else? I have 178k miles on the car if it matters. Thanks for any help

Q: Did you vacuum out the ac system and add some ac oil?

Fill it with some gas and check for a leak with a leak detector (sniffer) or if none available use a soap/water solution.

Don't have a sniffer but I understand what you are saying. It just the sealer I used with that red die is very obvious to see if it's leaking. I know the whole engine bay is clean. I think what I'll do next is pull everything out so I can see the evaporator and look to see if I see any red on it or around it. If I don't I'll do what you said but have it ready to see the evaporator. I believe it's from in the car since I could only hear the hissing from inside. Worse case scenario which I really don't want to do is I'll take it to a shop. I hate when other people touch my baby 😰. Lol
