I'm driving home last night from work, and I mash the motor to get around a truck. The car downshifts to 3rd and starts climbing through the RPM's. At around 5700 rpms, the little check engine light starts flashing. I let off and drive normal and it goes away about 30 seconds later. I floor it again and it does the same thing. I only noticed it in 3rd gear. Any ideas?

 

There is a tsb on that. 03-033 They just need to update the computer and perform a crank shaft postion sensor relearn.
