Cd wont eject :(

Hey All,

I am looking for some help!

Acura TL - 2005 - Non-Navi - Automatic - US Edition

This morning, i went to start my car for it to warm up.
Went back in 10 minutes, and saw an "ERRR" or "ERROR" (cannot remember exactly which one) on my CD player, so I assumed that the certain CD is not reading properly, so i switch it to the next CD and it starts flashing "reading" but did not play and automatically switched to the AM radio station, and i could still see on the top display CD 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are loaded ... so I decided to hold the eject button for all the CDs to eject, it started flashing "EJECT" made some sounds, but nothing came out, so i attempted once again, and it didnt work, and the lost the display upto too where i could see the CDs that were loaded, and ever since it wont even go to CD/DISC, and when i attempt to eject, it flashes "EJECT" make a very small "switching noise" but nothing comes out ... please help

Car was bought in the US, im in Canada, no warrant ... no nothing ...

your CD probably is stuck in the changing mechanism and causing this. You can buy a new radio and replace it, or try to take apart your unit and fix it.

If you use something long and flat like a nail file and push the cd upwards (nail file under the cd when it's stuck) while holding the eject button, it will come out eventually. Worth a try, just be careful. You may screw up the CD but at least you got it out and can possibly use the player again. Just a thought. I know CD-ROMS' on PC's have a tiny hole that you can manually open the CD-ROM with a paper clip or something by pushing in the hole. I wonder if our CD player has that??
