I Have a 2004 TL that I bought used. I haven’t had any problems with it, until now. The Cd player will skip horribly with a combination of static. However when playing a DVD with Audio, it’s perfectly clear and sounds great. Anyone else have this type of problem? Acura said they can remove the navigation & stereo, send it in and Refurbish it for $520. I really don’t want to spend that much to have the Cd player fixed. Do I have another choice?

 

Sometimes it skips in mine too! I'm thinking if I hit a hard bump on the road or something that would cause it to do that? Dude don't pay acura to do that because for that price you should just buy an after market indash dvd player. I have one sitting in my room from my 01 civic and i'm still thinking if I should put it in place of the factory cd player. But since you have a navigation I dunno if you want to do that.
