carpet issues

carpet issues
Any thoughts/ideas on how to correct this? The clip is stripped, Tried double sided tape but no go (best friend keeps kocking it loose when he gets in and out). Was thinking of glueing it down.....

You could try hot-glueing the clip in along with a liberial strip of heavy duty double sided tape.
