Car Wont Start! TWICE!

My mother is probably going to kill this car, she never ever had any issues with the Jaguar XJ, and now she is having a hard time with our tl with almost 35k miles on it. THe other night, while waiting for my sister to get out of tutoring, she waited in teh car, and when an hour had passed, tried to start the car, but pulling the ignition did nothing, a horrible sound preceeded.

The worst timing ever, and not good news for the acura, today my sister had her first SAT testing in a location about an hour away, my mother really needed the NAVI to get there, and the car wouldnst start same thing, poor thing got all stressed out, had to take the Jag, and now they are going to be late. Unacceptable, the dealer said there was nothign wrong with the car after teh first time, this started just after the 34k service too. I have a call into my dealer, and I'm going to make sure Hoehn fixes this very quickly, we dont have enough cars for the only car my family has ever purchased new to starting bitching on us, when it's needed most. :end of rant:

Almost willing to bet it needs a battery.
FWIW, my neighbor across the street bought a new Toyota Sienna a few months ago. She is bitching about the same thing right now, damn thing will not start. This is also here second or third time.

Also, see this thread in this section yesterday, also in the garage---possible relationship?
