Car Slowing Down....HELP!!

Ok, so I have an 05 TL and all i've done to it is pull out the intake silencer. well recently i've been noticing that my car doesn't have the pull that it used to have. My 2nd gear doesn't "kick" off like it usually does. Same goes for my 3rd gear. So i thought it was the transmission fluid, but everything checked out. Oil: perfectly fine. Air filter: Clean. I have no idea what to look for now and im kind of reluctant to take it to the dealership in fear that they'll screw me over. any suggestions on what to do next? I was thinking about reseting the computer but is there any driving patterns that i need to follow if i do that? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

a couple of possibilities come to mind

1. did you put bad gas in the car?
2. try putting the instake silencer back in and see if it helps
3. try resetting the computer (disconnect battery for 15 minutes) then drive "normally" for about 100 miles
4. maybe you're just getting used to how fast the car is and it doesn't feel as fast as it used to

the resonator which is what you removed is whats making your car slower. it doesn't do much, but you are losing torque

yeah i know what you mean. i feel the same way too...my car just doesn't feel like it's picking it up anymore, but like most the other guys said, i'm assuming i'm just "used" to it. TRY DRIVING WITH YOUR SHOES OFF...seriously
