Car Shaking/Jitterring at 55+ MPH
Car is "Jitterring" at speeds above 55 MPH. Here is the details:
1) 2005 TL with 95K miles
2) Caught up on maintenance till date including an early timing belt change
3) No jittering or vibrtation in Park and Neutral
4) Slight Jittering begins a little bit in Reverse and Drive
5) 0-50MPH..no problem or cant hear/feel any problem. But Jittering begins at 55+ MPH
6) All Wheels are balanced and no bent in RIMS
7) Dealer changed front axles and the car Jitters even more than when we had the original old axles.
8) Dealer is going to put in a Resonator Damper tomorrow and will also check if the "Torque Converter is acting funny".
9) Problem started all of a sudden.. like a month ago.
Bad Motor Mounts?? Bad Axle or faulty axle? Im running out of ideas and its very frustrating. Looking for any help or ideas from Azine experts so I can tell the tech to diagnose accordingly.
Thank you guys in advance.

I think you have a bad wheel an/or tire, even though you say they are ballanced and no dents thats where the problem is. I had a 350Z with a similar issue, had it aligned and wheels balanced, no help. Got a refund for the alignment and balance and took it to another shop, had the same thing done, voila, they found a tire that was out of whack, had the tire replaced under warranty, rebalanced and that did it.

TL's have issues with bad motor mounts due to excessive heat.
Might want to check for movement/play in each mount.
Also: compliance bushings may be a factor (also common problem). Alignment done?
Have you put it into drive/reverse with the brake on and noticed the same vibration?
