Car problems due to AC?
Hey, so I've noticed For these two couple of days when I started using my AC , my car has been kinda wanting to shut off when I brake. I have an 06 Acura tl 6MT. example: I could be driving 45 mph and as Im
Coming to a stop the car kinda stalls it goes under 500rpms and then goes back to normal idle. It bounces down then back to normal idle. Or if im shifting down as i brake the car does the same thing. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Please note it's only with the AC on.

similar with 04 auto. doesn't happen all the time, but idle gets too low (a bit rough) at a stoplight with a/c on sometimes then bounces back. hasn't stalled yet on me.

Turn the car to stall mode and turn off all the accessories (A/C, radio, heated seats, etc). Then turn the car on and let it idle for about 15 minutes (or until the radiator fan turns on). The car will relearn the idle so it knows the minimum RPM it must keep.
If you haven't changed the battery recently and it isn't that old you might have a vacuum leak.

You can always use carb spray around the connections to see if the idle changes when spraying. Most likely electrical.
The idle relearn is a little more involved and not certain it will work properly without the HDS.
Turn off all accessories
Reset ECU with HDS
Turn ignition switch on and wait for 2 seconds
Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3000rpm without load (in Park or Neitral) until the radiator fan comes on, or until the coolant temp reaches 194 degrees F (90 C)
Let the engine idle for 5 minutes with the throttle fully closed. Note: If the radiator fan comes on, do not include its running time in the 5 minutes.
