I have recently bought an 04 TL and one thing i notice is that when I turn my car off, it doesn't automatically unlock. When I go to drive it automatically locks but when i turn it off it does not automatically unlock. i this standard for an 04 TL and if not, does anybody know how i can change this? Thought it may be a child lock thing. I appreciate any feed back.

I've never owned an automatic TL (only had 6 speeds) but am going to venture that it's a setting in the MID.

 

He's correct. You can find the setting in the MID under Keyless Memory Settings. It should be called Auto Door Unlock if I'm not mistaken and you can set it to either Driver Only or All Doors and you can also set it to Unlock when shifted into Park or when the Ignition is turned to the Off position.
