Car has clicking and then dies

I have a 2004 Acura TL and when the car gets to it’s running temperature, the dot that tells you what gear you’re in (automatic) goes away, it will idle weirdly low and there is a rapid clicking behind the cluster and under the shifter and then it stalls out and continues to click until I turn the key off. The car will only start back up when the dot comes back and then it’s randomly doing that after. But never does it when the car is cold. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Shift solenoid may be dirty?
