Car feels like a seesaw - Suspension replacement
Car feels like a seesaw - Suspension replacement
Hey guys,
My TL-S is running a bit of a mish-mash of OEM suspension currently, old base auto shocks and base manual springs. It feels like shit - the whole car will pitch forward and backwards when you let off the throttle, slightly miss time a shift, what have you. It feels to me like the suspension is just doing a bad job of keeping the car in place. It doesn't help that my car also has a few mods, namely a lwfw and a tune that I feel exacerbate this feeling.
So if I want to replace my suspension with something new to alleviate this, how stiff should I go? Would brand new OEM Type-S springs and shocks be stiff enough to keep the car in place, or should I move on to something even stiffer like Koni Yellows or coil-overs? I don't really have much interest in going lower or having an adjustable setup. I want my car to feel comfortable but firm enough to get rid of this seesaw sensation.

most likely, your shocks are blown...if you purchase any TL OEM shock/spring combo it will get rid of the seesaw action.
