can this be fixed ???









i have a 04 tl .. that lil clip broke i went to the dealer to get it hes like that comes with the carpet im like wtf.. hes like u gotta buy the whole carpet set which is $175.. i was like fuk for lil ass clip i gotta spend $175.. can any1 help wher i could get it done from

Pull of the sill trim (easy as can be), and see if you simply re-insert that clip into its slot. If not, pull the clip off entirely and double-sided tape the carpet to the body. Reattach the sill trim, and you're good to go.

That's what I would say....at least from what I can tell from those crappy pictures

The carpet should be tucked under the panel. Why not just lift off the panel and stick the carpet down with velcro, then put the panel back on over the carpet edge?

i drilled a screw right through the carpt cuz it always seems to pull there.

sounds a like muchado about nothing -- lol -- get some velcro or hot glue or something cheap and simple (as mentioned up there) and fix yer ride
