Cabin air filter...WTF

I'm trying to do my cabin air filter and I saw a few YouTube videos and it looks simple. Not in my case. At the very top of the glove box when it is open there should be 2 plastic spring loaded clips and I don't have those, just the rubber nipples (haha) and a pop trunk switch. I'm at a loss right now. Plz help

I am sure you this video is what you are looking for, can you post up a picture? (If you have, my apologies as it is blocked here at work)

It was not like that at all!!! I took the bottom kick panel off normally but then there is a tab on the left and a tab on the right sides of the glove box that need to be pushed forward then take out. That let's the glovebox drop down and I just peeled back the line and replaced the air filter. No screws or bolts at all. I did it all by hand. I thought his was weird, anybody else have this style glovebox?

I am confused on what you mean, did you happen to take any pics? That would really help clarify what you are talking about.

Someone (the previous owner or dealer if they did it), from what you describe, they cut out part of the Glove box assembly

Do yourself a favor and cut out the plastic before you put it all back together. It will save you so much time and headaches in the future since you won't have to do anything besides open the glovebox to replace your filter.
