A/C unit doesn't work.. blower can't be turned off

I've done a thread search, and didn't see anyone with this specific issue.

I changed out the dash and, upon reinstall, the A/C unit doesn't turn on, although the fan blower blows constantly (typically cycling from low heat to high heat, and then back again). I also installed LED lights on the dash and the climate control unit.

Fuses inside cabin and under hood are fine (and have swapped them).

Stereo works fine.

Since the stereo isn't affected by the reinstall, could I surmise it was the LED lights that are causing the issues? (I'm swapping them out tomorrow). I didn't think this was possible. If so, would that mean too much or too little current would then go through my climate control? I.e., is it just underpowered or fried?

If it's not the LED lights, would a broken wire inside the connectors cause this kind of malfunction? I didn't see any lose wires or wires being wrongly grounded (but that could be still the case). If the blower functions, does that mean the unit is receiving power? Do you recommend replacing the unit just in case to rule that out?

Have you tried the blower relay?

Since the blower turns on, I don't think it would be the relay? I'm not sure how that would make the entire climate control unit dark/non-functioning.

So display for the climate control is completely dark? If climate control is disconnected, blower motor will run on full by default. Think about what you did and if you did connect everything back. I would also inspect the connectors, as maybe one pin in bent in the unit, or maybe one pin slipped out from the plug. And check fuses with test light. Sometimes it's really hard to see if fuse is blown.

Thanks. I'll try that.

Could the (new) LED lights have any effect on the climate control working?

You must have left one of the connectors off for the HVAC

Just to update:

First trip to Acura: According to Acura, if the blower runs at full, this doesn't necessarily mean hvac unit is not getting power but rather due to faulty hvac... I don't think this is true

Second trip to Acura: It turned out a connection behind the blower was loose, causing hvac unit not to work
