A/C takes a long time to get cold

05 TL and it takes the A/C about 20 mins on the highway to get the air cold. Blower works fine, filter just changed. Does the system need to be recharged or is it a sign of the compressor going? Thanks for the responses.

Go the cheaper route and recharge the system?

open the glove compartment and clean out/exchange for a new in-cabin air filter. I had the same problem and this worked for me
