A/C leaking from high and low pressure ports...

Guys,

My AC stopped working recently. Someone told me to put some spit (I know, lol) or soapy water on top of the low pressure ports to see if the leak is coming out of there.

Sure enough... both are leaking.

I know someone that owns a tool to replace the part. Has anyone had this happen?

Also, am I gonna have to put oil back in the system after the freon is completely gone while replacing the part?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there are no valve cores that Acura sells to replace leaking cores. You could use a tire valve core removal tool to see if the cores inside the fittings are tight. If they are tight and still leak you must replace the lines affected.

Thanks for your reply...

Damn. No cores. Good info though. I didn't know that. I thought I could just buy them.

Hopefully they're just loose.

Ill post back w updates..
