well i would like to say, that i just bought my first TL and it is an '04 and i love the car.

now, when the engine is turned on i hear a buzzing sound coming from the front passenger side speaker on the door and the one on the dash.

the sound will get louder the higher the rev's are. also after a little bit the sound will eventually go away.

i am handy at taking things apart but this baffles me on how to fix it. since i did own a 93 integra before this i really dont want to go around riping everything apart.

any suggestions?

I have the same electrical humming noise but only with my ipod integration kit. Radio and CD playback is fine and it does have a higher pitch when I accelerate.

Does anyone know if this is a battery power issue? Do I need an amp or something? Can you tell I have no electrical experience

 

This is an electrical noise interference issue. If the car is stock, no audio upgrades, I would check ALL of the grounding points on the car to make sure they are clean and tight, especially the one off of the battery and alternator. The reason the noise gets louder when you accelerate is that the alternator is spinning faster. Definately sounds like an electrical grounding issue.
