Burnt wires next to intake

Burnt wires next to intake

Today i was cleaning my cold air intake. once i took the intake out i the intake was all beat up and there was burnt wires next to it. If anybody could help out I would appreciate it

those are ground wires for various electrics in the car. I'd say that's oil or some fluid film plus dirt on wires and they are not burnt.

Not burnt. That's just grime mixed with road debris. Don't worry about that, that's probably how a lot of your electrical connections look that are located in the lower exterior of the engine bay.

There seems to be green corrosion on your grounds.

Your wires are not burnt but that water damage/rust could cause other problems. If you look at the first image below, you can see where the water has been dripping. There is a track of rust you can follow. It seems to come in through your headlight ballast and drip down the ballast support to your grounds.

In the second image, you can see green corrosion in the circled areas. Corrosion on grounds are very bad because they begin to cause intermittent issues that are hard to diagnose.

You should clean the grounds but also figure out how water is getting into that area. I would also inspect the ballast. After my ballast failed, I noticed rust on the outside of the ballast housing, last image below.
