BUGS in your car?
BUGS in your car?
So last weekend I believe I left my window cracked open a bit, and next morning I saw some spiderwebs inside by the steering wheel + center console. I had a rag in the car so I just simply removed them. Yesterday while I was driving at night the spider decided to drop down from the driver side corner of the sunroof... I went ballistic and almost floored the car into a curb. Got home safely and tried to find the little bastard, but no luck... I've been seeing webs in my car for a week... I NEED A SOLUTION! HELP!
I was minding my business enjoying the way back home and it appears in front of my face what am I suppose to do? I was going along a curve as well...

Just got back from a thorough inspection, killed one in the driver door well along with another bugger (guessing it was dinner) All ive been reading elsewhere are bug bombing or setting the car out in the sun. what to do..
If you are really serious about getting rid of them, bug bomb the car, it will be the only way to ensure you kill them all, because they get into areas and you wont be able to see them. afterward you will need to do a good cleaning, because the smell will linger for a while.
The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I had my driver's side window cracked, as usual I parked far away from everyone underneath a tree, so my car could be in the shade. I'm driving for 5 minutes and a spider comes crawling across the dash. I quickly pulled over and killed it. I guess don't crack your windows when leaving your car unattended.
If you have a garage... open up all the doors, trunk, hood, etc. and bomb the car in the garage. I bombed mine just to be safe when I bought it because my previous car was full of spiders and bugs. I didn't have any problems with it leaving a smell or making a mess.
No, it won't harm the interior. When I bombed my old car I put one on the center console and it didn't harm the interior. With the TL, I put one can under the engine bay and one under the rear end. With all the doors open and in a closed garage it kills everything.
If you set one off inside your car with everything closed, you'll be fine.
