Brushing Noise - Squeaking from Driver's Side

Something's going on...it just hasn't been the same after the accident. The main issue I'm having is the with the driver's side. It sounds like something's brushing up against something. Almost like the brake pad is pushing against the rotor. At one point it was loud squeaky, but after a bit it just makes a "sheek sheek" noise. HELP anyone?

Noticed it after taking a rough right turn...but the noise it been around for a while now...

To see if it's in braking system, keep the car rolling along when you hear the noise, and with your left foot apply the brakes lightly to see if the noise changes or dissipates.

Maxima’s have a nasty habit of having the backing plate contact the rotors under certain circumstances, especially when turning and the rotor deflects, and to correct, the backing plate needs to be bent away in the offending area.

Good luck
