my cars engine was vibrateing only on first start up in the am, then fine the rest of the day, it did seem to be a little more noise coming from the car on rough pavement. I though it was in the wheels or a bad wheel. Two problems that seemed umrelated, I searched the net and as usual see what most other owners are having issues with, Motor mounts. I have very low miles on my 2004, I took into my local dealer and both mounts are broke. I am sorry there is no way this could happen on such a gentley used car as mine, obviously its a part failure and people should stop paying for this and do a lot more complaining. My local dealer finally agreed that it was unusual failure and Acura absorbed the cost of repairs, Thanks to all the complaints on the net it helped me prove this is a widespread problem. Also there was just no justificaton for my car which was under millage to have both mounts broke! complain and get it paid for

BTW, since there are 3 motor mounts for our cars, hopefully you got 3 replaced.

 

Welcome Sux this happened but glad your taken car of. BTW how much were they trying to pin on you and what did you end up paying?

 

The stealer took care of it for her under warranty.

 

This is an 04 TL with 40,000 miles, the cars been out of warranty about a little over a year.The charge they were quoteing was 600.00 for two mounts. I paid nothing, Acura absorbed the total bill.

 

I hate that crap same thing happen to me. The stock mounts suck and so does the dealer! Thank god i still have warranty lol can't wait to switch them out for Innovative mounts. Glad you didn't have to pay for it.
