Broken drivers door handle...

Yeah so last night I go to get out of my car and the inside handle didn't open my door. I now have to open the window to open my driver door. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? Or know a fix?

Remove the panel and see if the rod is still attached to the handle. The parts are cheap, and the hardest part is removing the panel lol Only 2 screws holding it in though

Yeah man you'll see it when you remove the panel, the rods running accross behind the panel. Just be careful not to pull the panel off the door-shell, then drop it; as everything will still be connected I think there is something in the 3G Garage about how to remove it :idk:

When you take your door panel off you will see a cable with a green peice of plastic. Chances are that green piece is broken. I broke the one in my car when I was changing my speakers. I fixed it by holding the green piece together with duck tape. I put enough so that it will fit snug in the small bracket that holds it in place. Hope this helped. Oh yea I do plan on eventually replacing the cable but my fix has worked for a while now, fingers crossed. The panel has four screws, two behing the handle, one under the arm rest and one in the bottom left corner.

That one in the bottom left can be a bitch if it is stripped. You may have to manhandle it a bit to get it out and when you re-install, do not overtighten it.
