Brembo problem or normal incline braking issue?

All;

About 2 weeks ago, the dealer replaced the brembos on my 07 TLS free of charge b/c I complained about a rubbing sound at slow stops with the foot slightly on the pedal. Although I still hear a slight rubbing with my foot gently applied to the pedal, the brakes have been working great. No complaints! Until today. I was cruising into a parking lot at around 35mph. As I was making the turn, I applied my brakes and went up the incline to get into the lot. As I was turning, the brake pedal made vibration sounds and I heard the brakes make a pretty nasty grinding sound. When I got home, I tried to repeat this in my neighborhood but I have no inclined payment. Is it possible they hosed something on the brake install or is this a normal thing when braking up an incline while turning?

Sounds like your ABS was kicking in...........I guess because of the incline.

Perhaps one wheel lifted as you were going up the incline which triggered the ABS

Try finding some rough pavement or some small pot holes and trying to break through or over them. This will set off your ABS and you can see if that's what happened before.

This happens to me when I pull into my inclined driveway to fast and on the brakes hard. I assume this occurs because of the angle I hit the incline. My civic and Benz reacted the same way if was traveling to fast.

Yesss!

glad to hear that... i was worried something was wrong... phew!

I live in an apt. complex on a VERY steep hill and any time i brake while turning onto an uneven part of the hill(especially the spot with bumpy cobblestones) it kicks in... a little disconcerting to say the least. Now that i think about it it does feel similar to when i had to brake hard once and the ABS engaged.
