From my understanding there was a service bulletin for 2004 TL's with Brembo's, squeaking.

I have a 2004 TL and my brakes squeak a lot. How do I go about getting these fixed? My car is still under warranty? Will I need to pay anything? Do I just call the service department and tell them the problem and bring in the 1 page service bulletin?

Sorry.. but this is my first car thats still under warranty.

I'd call them and tell them that your Brembos are squeaking when you lightly apply the brakes. You can bring the TSB with you, but they'll know it because it's pretty common. My 05 does it too - I just haven't gotten around to calling the dealer and making an appointment.

 

I just called them.. And I'll be going tomorrow to fix/ have them look at a few problems

Brakes, Alignment, noise from passanger side door, noise from center compartments, driver side window sometimes makes noise when going down, HFL needs to be updated....

I just feel like letting them know EVERYTHING so I dont have to go back again and again...

 

from what i see u said u're going to get your HFL updated? How do u know if your HFL needs to be updated b/c i didnt even know you could update it

 

someone else posted about it. I've been reading on these forums a lot. Just figured id get everything done at once.
