I just replaced my front pads and rotors. I greased up pretty much anything i could...but i'm not sure if the pad wear pattern on rotor is normal.

Before, there was a wear mark in the middle of the rotor leaving a thin band on top and below where the pad was not making contact, now it seems as there is only a band below and the pad makes contact with all the rest of the rotor. This is on both sides. Is this because i bought performance breaks?

As you can see in the image below:

 

Pull the caliper and see where the rotor is making contact with the pads, then go from there.
