do you have the 6 speed manual trans or the automatic- different brakes
grinding indicates wear well past the warning tab, and may require replacement or at least resurfacing of the rotrs as well as new pads

Hawk HPS pads are good for the TL S with brembo front brakes

i couldn't wait, i went to Midas, and got some ceramic pads, they said they use Wagner Brake pads, im guessing they are somewhat decent...but i feel like crap going to Midas brakes, but i just ran out of time and needed to get something done, I have the 5 spd Auto...

Thanks alot though bro!

I went to midas 7 years ago and will never go there again. They tried to rip me off, said i needed a master cylinder because it was leaking along with brake pads and wanted 800 bucks on a ford mustang. I got a second opinion and they said the master cylinder had no leaks and would be $135 for all 4 pads installed. Since then i have learned to install pads myself.

Wagner ThermoQuiet pads are great. I know of many shops that use them with very few comebacks.

Don't worry about it, those pads are good if that's what they used.
