Brake pad Issue? [Pic]

Hey guys and gals,
I plan to either get my brake pads replaced or something to get rid of that awful screeching noise when braking. I have found out its my rear (R) one, I managed to examine the rear ones and they look rusted. The one I found the noise coming from has this white powder forming against the Rotor.

I am new to the DIY stuff, is this normal? the left side one has no white neither do the fronts from what I can see. Very difficult when they wheels aren't taken off.

Please help, plan to go home to visit family this weekend since its my BDAY, but hope I dont need new brakes since I need to do an oil change, I have never changed the brakes since I bought the car in April '11.

looks like you have a few thousand miles left. How does the inside one look? If you end up replacing them then put some molycoat on the brake pad springs and on the outside of the brake pads as well as the edges of the brake pads where they sit on the springs. Those springs normally make the noise from high pitch vibrations.

This is the Rear Right:
thinking of buying the Duralast CMAX brake pads since its the most convenient ones and have gotten pretty good reviews. Should I just do the rear or do all?

hm, i would take the pads out and inspect them. Might be contaminated with something. Does the wheel spin relatively freely with the parking brake released? doesnt look like it's sticking, but just to make sure.

Well I will have to wait til I go home and use my uncles shop, since I have no tools to inspect them more thoroughly. Well right now the car has the parking brake on, so I am not sure what you mean by wheel spin freely when its released?
When I remove the parking brake yes it moves when I reverse and of course applying brakes. But they look like rotting ply board after a long rainy day.

Most of the rotors will show rust after a rainy day .. mine even do after I wash it and don't drive it.

I meant the brake pads, not rotors, I hate to look at the rusty rotors but i guess its normal as long as they are not warped.

Ah, my mistake, jack up the rear end and release the parking brake. Spin the wheel to see if it's dragging on the caliper. Looking at the rotor though I doubt its a stuck caliper.
