brake line replacement issue
So I got my stainless steel lines. Got all the tools necessary and on the first 10mm flare nut turn the wrench snapped. Great... So my question, are their any good or reliable ways to get that blasted nut off? I've soaked it for 24hrs with WD40 and still hasn't budged.
I'm worried about stripping it at this point. I plan to get a new wrench and try again. Anyone with experience with this mod/fix would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

On brake system fittings, use a flare nut wrench only:

If rounded and a wrench won't grasp, use vise grips and hit the fitting quickly with some heat.

Just as an update...after speaking to a mechanic, i attempted to use vise grips to break the hold, it didn't work. Eventually i got a nice pair of pliers and broke the nut loose. 3 of the 4 were very simple using the correct tools. For those of you who do this, stripping the nut is not the end of the world. As long as you can get it to rethread into the new lines, stripping the nut is acceptable.
