Brake lights
Hello I just realized my brake lights went out in a few spots. I was reading up and it said I had to replace the L.E.D but the only way is to solder it.
Is this true? Also why would they make them L.E.D? If It's true it would be a pain in the ass to replace. I might be in trouble because I don't know how to solder.

In theory you will either need to manually solder replacement L.E.D.s in there or better yet just replace the assembly. L.E.D.s aren't "supposed" to burn-out so you normally wouldn't have to replace any of them. I know my 3rd brake light had 2 out and I failed state inspection. The dealer just replaced the assembly.
