Brake failure after brake replacement

Brake failure after brake replacement
Had all brakes replaced on my 05 Acura TL on Nov 20. On Nov 21, I needed to brake sharply at an intersection. ABS engaged with my foot pressing hard on brake pedal. Suddenly, all braking simply stopped and it was like I was coasting. Brakes were replaced at an Acura dealership where I bought the car as new in 05. Anyone heard of such a phenomenon? I'm at a loss to understand what happened.

This could be a few things..
I have seen brake lines bust under a hard brake like you mentioned. I guess if this is the case, your brake fluid will be shooting all over the place somewhere. Just check your reservoir and see if there is a noticeable amount missing. (This will still hold a LITTLE bit of pressure, but the brake pedal will just fall all the way to the floor with an event amount of pressure all the way there, if that makes any sense)
and like mentioned before, could also be the master cylinder.
