Bone stock 04 TL throwing CEL at WOT!!!

The check engine light blinks only at WOT. Sometimes it will stay on but most of the time it just blinks. The only time I go over 4500 or 5000 RPM's is when I need to pass someone. But since it just blinks, then turns off I can't figure out what code its throwing.

I have roughly 75,000 on the odometer.

Any thoughts????

My guess would be spark plugs.
Flashing cel is a misfire.

Other things besides worn out plugs could cause a misfire, plugged air filter, plugged fuel filter, etc.

You could always pull the codes and see what it says....

ive been having the same problem and no codes are stored.

i'd change my plugs but the car only has 22k on the odo, Fujita filter is always cleaned, and the only one i haven touched yet is the cabin filter.

Another possiblity is that a person sees the VSA traction control flashing and then assumes it was the CEL light because they seen a yellow flashing symbol.

1 time fix

Get an Acura tech that knows of the issue. Had mine update software - not a single part replaced, cleaned nor adjusted. Never happened again. First happened early one <20K. Over 90K on it now and never happened after the fix.
