Is there anything I can check or change out? all of a sudden last week my car don’t recognize my iphone all of a sudden and I know the blue tooth works with the iphone because I paired up my plantronics head set.

I took it to the dealership since I have extended warranty and they want to charge me a $50 deposit to look at it plus they cant even tell me if the Bluetooth is covered or not. I hate the dealership!!!

Was your iphone linked before and now not? Borrow somebody's phone and see if you can link it. There's a list of known "good" phones on MyAcura. If you can, it's probably your phone. If you can't it's the HFL unit. There are lots of problems with the HFL. The first batch couldn't understand English. Later ones seem to have quirks, and sometimes go on strike for no obvious reason, then go back to work. The unit itself is easy to replace, but it costs about $600.
