I have a 2007 tl type s with 100 and today the defroster heat etc to not turn on when I start the car but kick on 10 minutes later.......it's obviously not a fuse issue?????

07 tl type s 100k miles.....the blowers don't turn on right away it took about 10 minutes before they kicked on today......fuses all set.....autocorrect

 

Check relays

 

Power transistor is possibly shot. Easy fix. Mine was moody for a good month before it finally stopped working all together.

 

Set on Auto? Outside Temp? Cooling system full?
Same response if tried on manual setting?

 

System full outside temp 55-60 and I tried both auto and manual settings.

It's pouring here so working on anything is impossible......

 

On my '05, the blower wouldn't always turn on for a few minutes no matter auto or manual settings. Sometimes when it came on, it would be slow, sometimes fast. It for sure had a mind of its own when it came to deciding to spin up or not. The final straw was 40 degrees in the rain in rush hour and not able to defog my front windshield. Had to open my windows for the first 10 minutes of my drive home.
