Okay, i did a moderate search before i started this thread.. so this might be the serp belt? or tensioner needs adjusting?.. i'm probably going to bring it to the dealer, but probably wont have time til after the holidays.. wanted your opinion.. here's a quick sound clip..

There are TSB's on a few different things that make similar noise in that area.

If you want to access a particular TSB follow the instructions at the top of the post first. A couple of the TSB's have sound clips embedded.


FWIW: I had a similar sound for a while (in cold weather) on mine. I thought it was belt squeak too. It went away on it's own after several weeks and never came back.

Okay im going to bump this because it went away, then it came back, so it's intermittent.. now the question is.. how do i prove to the dealer that this is happening since knowing my luck when i show up it wont be squeeling?
