Battery keeps dying and...
I have an 06 TL 6 Spd and lately there has been some weird stuff going on. A few months back the pass front parking light was out. Few days later the battery was dead (alarm wouldn't even work). get a new battery, three days later, dead again. Thinking it might be the new battery I swap out the battery and mysteriously the parking light now works?! Next day, dead again
If the vehicle isn't driven every day, it kills the battery. Yesterday, I turn the head lights on and the drivers side flickers and goes out, ok I need new headligts right? Well today it's on and looks as bright as the pass side. I've also noticed that the memory seats don't work half the time all of a sudden(both me and the wife drive the car and use different key fobs).
Being that I'm lost when it comes to troubleshooting electrical issues, anyone have any suggestions on what it could be...
Thanks in advance...

Just read a post on here saying hte HFL (hands free link) will drain the battery if it isn't working properly. Well mine isn't working so maybe thats the issue. Anyone know how to disconnect the HFL?
Google "06 Acura TL HFL removal". Very easy, less than 5 mins to do and it can be disconnected without effecting anything other than the voice controls for the nav of you have it.
Thanks man, I'll check it out...
Yep, HFL is most likely the culprit... If it says "booting up" and does nothing then that is what is draining your battery. Unit is right above your head behind the sunroof switch and overhead lights. Unplug and put everything back together and you're good to go.

I had the same problem with my acura tl 06 "Hand free link" wasn't working properly from last couple of years. it was connecting and disconnecting without any command. Then battery starts drains and I thought might be problem with battery and I changed. Problem was still there and went to Lordco from battery I purchased. They said problem in alternative, Then I went to Mcn. he said there's nothing wrong with battery, alternative and started. Problem something keep using battery could be navi, radio, cd, power lock etc. then he pulled out one major fuse from under hood and he checked battery stopped drains. But fan starts running on full speed without any control bcoz of after pulled out that fuse navi. radio-cd and power lock windows stopped working. Mcn said its big. Next day I called acura head office and told them about car problem. they said go to dealer. Without getting any sufficient answer I dropped my all hopes and went to Richmond acura Dealer and I told them whole story. I was pretty sure problem in HFL or Interior lights somewhere. Then they found out HFL was causing problem and they disconnected. When they checked first they didn't told it can drains battery ... they just gave me a cost to change it $500 plus if i want to.. so I paid two times it cost me $284. I don't what to say...I bought new car and it stars creating problems just after pass the warranty period....huh.
Having a similar problem myself. New battery last year after replacing the OEM. Duralast Gold replacement. Car is dead today at 4.1V. Did the jump and got it up to 12.32V. Tested the alternator and it puts out 13.8-14.5V.
How can I test to see if the HFL is the culprit?

Prior to this, I hadn't driven the car in 2-3 days.
Apparently this is a common problem and I was able to figure it out on here. Looks like I'm removing the HFL this afternoon to see if that is it.
My problem seems to be completely fixed as well now. I recharged the battery the day I disconnected the HFL and have been good to go ever since then.
