Battery Dying - Any good deals

I know others haven't, but I've had very good luck with OEM batteries. The current OEM battery in my 08 TL-S is at 86 months and was working fine, but after some heavy business travel and sitting around for weeks at a time, it is showing signs of failing. I've had it on a trickle charger and it will fully charge but it's no longer holding the charge. Before I go to the dealer and get a prorated warranty replacement (100 month warranty), I wanted to reach out to the Azine crew and see what is out there for good deals. I know folks like the Optima and Interstate batteries and many years ago, my go to replacement was always a Sears DieHard.
Anyone replace their battery recently and found a decent deal and/or any Black Friday specials I should be aware of?

TIA

No Costco local or local enough to me. I am member at BJ's, but don't know what they carry as I have never looked for a battery there.

says nothing https://www.bjs.com/products/auto-car-batteries.jsp

I'm just weary of Sears because they've filed for bankruptcy and so many stores around me are already closing...

I think there are only 3 big battery manufactures anyway.. Johnson Controls being the most common manu.

i'm really intrigued by the AGM batteries. never had one, always used lead-acid. I figure what's ~$50-60 more for a better battery.

May only be 3 or so big manufacturers, it doesn't mean that each brand is manufactured to the same specs.

So searching on line, seems like the DieHard is not an option locally either. According to the link, 24F isn't available within 100 miles... Could be the bankruptcy as mentioned.............

Yeah, not sure how I feel about having a battery shipped and potentially dropped/damaged several times. There is an Interstate battery dealer about 12 miles from me, so might go that route.......... Don't see much on line for coupons or specials though.

Can only find MT-24F, but no MTP-24 or MTP-24F. Seems like my options are fairly limited, which is somewhat surprising...........

I think we call that "stress testing" in the biz

I wound up buying an MTP-24F from Firestone as I found a $15 off coupon on line. So $135 net before taxes and was about $5 cheaper than buying direct from Interstate.

Just find the 24F battery with the largest # of cold cranking amps (at least 700) and reserve capacity. I have the yellow EverZStart Maxx from Walmart, rated a best buy in Consumer Reports. I typically get 3½ years out of a battery.
