Brake calipers

I have an 05 TL and I bought some brembo calipers off a guy who was parting out a 07 type S, can’t find any info on rotor size comparisons between the two, was wondering if I can just repaint them and just set them up, or do I have to get a bigger rotor size?

They'll only work if you have a manual transmission, not an automatic. The '04/5/6 TL with 6 speed manuals share he same brakes at the '07/8 TL-S.

Search for brembo swap threads. Discussed in detail in the past....but it has died down over the past couple of years. Rotors for sure aren't the same...I think there are a few more parts that will be required to make the swap. It has always been a mixed opinion if it is worth the swap or not.

I looked it up one time; if I recall correctly, the Left and Right Splash guards and left and right Knuckle Assemblies need to changed as well as the calipers and rotors.
