Backup camera not working

2007 TL-Type S
6-speed MT
The backup camera does not work at all. Screen does not change at all when car is put into reverse - does not blank out (turn black).

If the reverse camera does not come on at all when the car is in the reverse gear, look for a blown fuse.

I don't think the '06 TL had a backup camera as an option. Either you have an aftermarket camera or swapped with the 07/08 license plate frame/navi.

Help! Backup camera on an Acura TL 2008

I was wondering if anyone anyone knows why my Navi screen won’t switch to my backup camera when putting it in reverse. I have an 2008 TL base model but I converted it to navigation and the backup camera was the last piece of the puzzle but I don’t know why it’s not working. The Navi diagnosis’s recognizes it but it won’t turn on when I put it in reverse gear. Is there a trigger wire harness I’m missing or does the dvd rom in the trunk k provide the power ? Hopefully someone can help me with this. Thanks

It has to be triggered by the reverse light wire, I believe...

Looks like the Backup light switch is the trigger. Pin C5 green wire on the NAV connector
