Axles going bad on 3G..?
Ive been fighting with a front end vibration and loose feeling for a while now, and Ive replaced everything in the front end with suspension, engine mounts, and streering. Could the axles be causing the vibration and loose feeling? I have 177k on the car. Any input in this would be much appreciated.

I feel it way more at highway speeds. I get a floaty feeling up front and the vibration that just doesnt feel right. Ive changed almost everything that could affect the feeling through the wheel and pedal.

it could be your axles. at 177k...sure. i had a steering wheel vibration upon acceleration from one axle and the classic click with turns on the other. this was at 42k miles for me. replaced both axles with OEM at 50k mi. no problems since.
are you lowered? aftermarket rims with aggressive offsets?

I just went through this with my '04 6MT. Symptom was front end shaking under acceleration at highway speeds. Turned out to be the driver side driveshaft. The passenger side had a lot of play in it too so we replaced both sides. 86K miles. Drives fine now.

Just went through the same issue. I had my axles replaced bout 10k ago and was lowered and soon as i got the replacement i noticed the vibration under acceleration at low speeds (15-20 mph) and high speeds (60-80 mph). Save yourself some headaches and just buy OEM axles. THe GSP axles maybe lifetime replacements but they are not balanced and depending on the height of the car, you may or not feel vibration one replaced. Sounds weird but those were my symptoms.
