"Automatic" Clock
Dashboard clock isn't right. (btw - I have Navi and I don't use XM)
Manual says the dealership will fix this.
What do they do that I can't?
Bring it.

Depends on what is "wrong". If it's simply an hour off, that's because you have an older navi disc that doesn't have the updated software since Daylight Saving Time changed. I.E an 04 TL with the original disc will still have it changing on the old schedule, whereas my 07 S, for instance, has the updated software. Purchasing a new navi disc WILL correct this issue. Or, you can just turn off the "auto adjust" for the daylight saving time.

In January of this year, a new federal law kicked in that stretches out Daylight Saving Time (DST) by a full
month. DST now starts on the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday in November. For this
year, it meant clocks sprang forward at 2:00 a.m. on March 11th and will fall back at the same time on
November 4th. (Last year, clocks sprang forward on April 2nd, and fell back on October 29th.)
In navigation systems that allow for DST, this poses a problem—the system doesn’t know about the new
DST schedule. Here’s what you can do to ensure the correct time:
IMPORTANT: Before you start, make sure the vehicle is paired to a remote transmitter. You must use that
remote transmitter to unlock the door before you set the clock. If, when you set the clock, the vehicle is in
the Guest mode instead of the Driver 1 or Driver 2 mode, the clock will go back to its previous time as soon
as you open the door with that paired remote.
1. Go to the appropriate setup screen that’s used to adjust the clock.
• If the screen has a setting for Daylight Saving Time, turn off that setting and go to step 2.
• If the screen doesn’t have a setting for Daylight Saving Time, go to step 2.
2. Set the clock to the correct time if needed.

I own the 3.90 version.
Didn't work.
My clock is 28 minutes behind (If it's currently 5:00 - dash clock says 4:32). Just to clear this up, it's the clock that is above the navigation system in between the climate control temperatures.

What year is your car?
You can manually adjust the clock by holding the map/guide, menu, and cancel buttons all at the same time. This takes you into the diag screen. Problem is, I forget which menu option in there is for the clock adjust. But you can look around, you'll find it. Just don't change anything else in there!

Awesome! I'm going to go try this now. I'll let you know how it goes.

No luck with the diagnostic menu. Once again, I could only change the GPS clock by going onto that menu.
Anyone else have any other ideas?

Thanks naser075. The dealer should be able to fix this, but I was just wondering if it is a fix that I can do without having to take it over there.
I don't have a problem with driving 20 minutes to their service center; but I will have a problem if this job is so easy a caveman could do it.

It's not a recall (that's safety items only), it's just a service bulletin. But, it only applies to 07-08 TLs, in which case you would replace the navi unit. But, there is a service news that applies to 04-05 TLs, which I'll copy and paste below:
Audio-HVAC Subdisplay/
Clock Has Wrong Time
NOTE: This article applies to ’04–05 TLs and
’04–05 TSXs with the navigation system.
Is the time on the audio-HVAC subdisplay/clock
not matching the time on the audio-HVAC display
module? If this is the case, you need to
synchronize the two clocks. Here’s how:
1. Press the SETUP button on the display
module. From the Set-up Screen, select
2 or 4. Then select Time zone/clock.
• If the time is off by exactly 1 hour, check if
the daylight savings setting is on or if the
time zone setting is right for your area.
• If the Set-up Screen time matches the time
on the subdisplay/clock, but both times are
wrong, touch the Reset button on the
screen. This clears any adjustments that your
customer might have made with the + or -
buttons from the Clock adjustment screen.
• If the time on the subdisplay/clock doesn’t
match the display module time on the
Clock adjustment screen, there could be a
communication problem. Go to step 2.
2. Go into the diagnostic mode (see section 22 of
the appropriate S/M for details). Select
Functional Setup, and then H/U Time Send.
Make sure you’ve selected ON, then touch the
Set button. You may need to keep doing this
last action until the H/U time send completes.
If the two clocks still won’t sync, then go to
step 3.
3. Check the 10P connector between the
subdisplay/clock and the display module.
Look for loose terminals, and check for any
opens or shorts in the wires. Repair the
connector if needed.
