Auto unlock

The doors do not always unlock when the ignition is turned off. It is programmed correctly and works most of the time. I did notice on one occasion when someone manually unlocked and opened the rear door the rest of the doors did not unlock when the ignition is turned off. Is this normal or was it just a coinidence the doors didn't unlock after the rear door was unlocked manually and opened?

Will someone test this for me, preferably someone with a 6 speed programmed to unlock when switching off the ignition. If a door is unlocked and opened manually do the rest off the doors unlock automatically when the ignition is turned off?
Thanks in advance.

This may or may not apply.....I know that in our Camry, if you start the car with any of the doors open, the auto-unlock feature disables (It's set to unlock when you turn off the ignition). I have a 5 A/T and when i get home (at work now, sorry), ill try it and see if it applies to TL's.

Not to state the obvious but

What does the owners manual say about all these things.

Usually, operating tips can be found in the operating handbook!
