it has only been 2 weeks after i got my new tl-s and the auto brightness change on day/night is not working. it works manually but even if i set it up on auto, it does not change automatically. does anybody know whats wrong wit this?

go to your dash brightness control. dont set it to maximum brightness (you should see a few bars to indicate how bright your gauges are) and then set the navi screen to auto.

when you turn on your lights. the navi screen should dim.

I don't know if this works with the 07 but it does on my 06. Since the brightness of the dash lights is too high for my liking at night I set it to about the 2nd or 3rd bar on the level indicator. Once that is done you can toggle between max brightness and back to that setting by just hitting the MAX button.

Push the MAX button on your dash.

The owner's manual is your friend.

I asked this question too.....just like the other two guys said, take the gauge brightness level one step down from max and your problems will be solved.
