Aspec Stering Wheel Fading(gray area)

I just wanted to see if anyone else had any color fading on their aspec steering wheel? And if so, how did you correct/fix this?

I dont have pics yet but the gray area on the left side is starting wear and is showing the blackish color that is behind it. That is the area i am always holding so it makes sense, while the right side looks brand new, but i was wondering if anyone has had this same issue and of so what products they used to re-color this area. I know they make paint and stuff to use when there are tears in leather but since my hand will continue to hold there i want to be sure it is durable.

Any suggestions are welcome. I will try to post some pics later.
