The spring in the door that opens the ash tray door must have broken. Used to be when you pushed down on the door it would automatically open. Any advice on how to fix?

 

Since when did the TL have an ash tray? Did you get that as an accessory? BTW, welcome to AZ

 

Thanks for the welcome don't know why it took so long. I don't know what its called but your correct its not an ash tray. The storage compartment above the one with a cigarette lighter is the one that isn't working. One morning pushed on it to open and the auto open didn't work. Any help is most appreciated. So glad I found this place many thanks to those over the years that have provided so much valuable informaiton.
