anyone got any solutions to windshield problem??
soo it started pouring down hard on my way home from a computer lab, and when i turned on my blades noticed it sounded weird for some reason but not enough to get me worried. stopped at the gas station and noticed that one of the metal bars in the stock blade and come off some how. (new blades from dealer) and it left an arching scratch i guess we can call it on my windshield. anyone know any quick fix tips for this. bored and i know its gonna bother me for a while. tried looking in the problems and fix area but nada. heard clay-bar could get rid of most of that. true??

Check to make sure that you can't catch your fingernail in the scratch. If you can catch your fingernail in the scratch, then it can't be repaired and you will need to take your vehicle to a glass shop to have the windshield replace
Thoroughly clean the windshield, making sure to completely remove all dirt, oil and debris.
Place a small amount of glass rubbing compound on your drill's buffing attachment. Spray the scratched area with water and work the compound in, keeping water on the area to ensure that the compound works. Begin with light pressure and see how that works.
Take your clean rag and remove the solution for the windshield.
Put Glass Renew on the windshield using the drill once again. Use the same pressure that you used before, working the area until the scratch is out.

google and you'll find other tips if this one doesn't satisfy you.

Clay won't work. Never tried this:

Glass scratches are difficult as distortaion after repair is always a possibility.
